Adding Passport Pages

If you are a frequent traveler who has run out of pages in your full-validity, unexpired passport, you may request additional pages be added to your existing passport book.

Step 1: Fill out Form DS-4085, "Application for Additional Visa Pages."

Step 2: Go to the Consulate

You must bring your current passport with you. You may appear at the Consulate to request additional pages Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 11:30 am. Generally, your passport will be available for pick-up in the afternoon of the same day.

Fees

The total fee for extra passport pages is $82 USD.

Fees must be paid in the Consulate at the time of your appointment. Payment must be made in cash, either U.S. dollars or the Mexican peso equivalent, or with a major credit card. Credit cards will be charged in U.S. dollars. Checks cannot be accepted.

Requesting Extra Pages in New Passport

If you frequently find yourself in need of extra pages in your passport book, you may request a 52-page passport book rather than a 28-page passport book at no extra charge. This request must be  made concurrently with the application for the new passport.
