Electronic Forms for Passport Applications
PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT
Effective Monday, April 7, 2008 all passport applications must be filled out electronically prior to arrival at the Consulate. As of the same date, we encourage applicants to secure appointments ahead of time. Note: The on-line passport application and appointments are available in English only.
Electronic Forms for Passport Applications
As of Monday, April 7, 2008, the American Citizen Services section of the U.S. Consulate in Guadalajara will require all passport applications to be filled out prior to arrival. We will no longer accept hand-written passport applications. All passport applications can be filled out here. Note: This policy does not apply to emergency passport applications involving lost and stolen passports.
Appointments
Effective Monday, April 7, 2008, the American Citizen Services section of the U.S. Consulate in Guadalajara will offer appointments for all passport applications and Consular Reports of Birth Abroad (CRBA). Appointments will be required effective May 2, 2008. Applicants with appointment confirmations may proceed directly to the Consulate’s public entrance for security screening. They will not be required to wait in line. All appointments can be made on-line here. Note: This policy does not apply to emergency passport applications involving lost and stolen passports.
